What I Do

From time to time I have received a number of invitations and got to work on various types of assignments online and on-site but here are the highlight and please check more mon the blog tab for more update projects.

I have been working here and there helping mostly International NGOs in Cambodia and Malaysia through Maven International Inc. for on-site consecutive interpreting. Recently, I continue to expand my services to remote interpreting through zoom, call, video on part-time and freelance basis. Since the beginning of 2023, I got selected to be an OPI/VRI interpreter for Proz.com and TransPerfect; meanwhile, VOYCE is in the process.

On-site consecutive interpreting for IJM through Maven International in Malaysia 2022-2023
I am on my way to become a professional OPI/VRI. Will start the job from July 2023 onward
6 months interpreting for Speech Therapy Cambodia directly at the 3 National Hospital in Phnom Penh

During five years in language service providing, I spend about 60% of time to remotely translate a wide range of topics for international clients.

Those clients include The Cloudburst Group, Root Change organization, Trinh Foundation Australia, Humboltd University, LienAid, Lingo Whiz and so on.

For this particular skill, I first discovered and started the job with Appen.com and still work on it till today on freelance basis. I do wanna have this skill as a profession so will keep improve it and search for more projects online this year onward.

Voiceover & Subtitling

I got opportunities to work on these two skills from time to time but mostly in a non-professional context for mostly training purpose in NGOs. In 2018, I used to voiceover for Trinh Foundation Australia and IJM Malaysia in 2022. Regarding subtitling, I used to go through one-day training from a Singapore company and started working on several HBO movies; 2019 worked with Little BIG Films for UNICEF ប្រែក្រឡា project.
